In March 2008, Karen Deere joined the volunteer team of Our Pal’s Place. From the beginning, Karen was dedicated to our cause of saving pets from death in county shelters and adopting them into forever homes. She was involved in all aspects of our operations from care-giving to special events. Her enthusiasm and smile graced our operations! We will always remember her dearly and miss her immensely.
All donations in memory of Karen will go to our Save-A-Heart fund which is used exclusively to help critical care cases and heartworm positive dogs.
