An approximately 8 month-old puppy wandering the busy parking lot of an apartment complex all alone is a recipe for a tragedy. Biscuit’s eventual hero saw her darting around the parking lot and also saw a lady watching the scene unfold from a distance (but not taking any action). Our Good Samaritan was able to secure Biscuit and approached the lady to ask if Biscuit was her dog. The lady said “yes, but I’m tired of her, I’m tired of feeding her, and I don’t want her. You can have her if you want her, but I’m not taking her back her back in.” And with that, the lady turned her back on Biscuit and went inside.

Sadly, this happens more than we would like to acknowledge. How many dogs are turned out to fend for themselves and end up suffering a tragic fate? Biscuit was one of the lucky ones because someone happened to be there just at the right moment to keep her safe.

Despite this, Biscuit is a shining star! She’s an inquisitive, eager-to-learn pup! Her favorite game to play is fetch and she is a pro at bringing the ball back for you to throw!
