Meet Coco!
Our intake team received a message from Sherry, a long-time volunteer at Cobb County Animal Services, letting us know that they were over-capacity and many dogs were in jeopardy. In this message, she told us about Coco, who had been in the shelter since May and her time was quickly running out. Susan, another dedicated CCAS volunteer, fought for Coco and was able to get her an extra 24 hours to get out before it was too late.
When we heard about Coco, we knew we had to jump into action and save her. We got there as soon as the doors opened and headed straight to her. She greeted us quietly in her run, and quickly opened up once we brought her into a bonding room. She gave us sweet kisses, loved getting scratches, and gently held a stuffed toy in her mouth.
Coco is such a sweet, gentle girl! All she needs is a plush toy, a comfy bed, and someone giving her some good scratches!
