Alex’s Story…
Hello friends, my name is Alex and I am a shepherd/lab blend. I like to think of myself of as the female version of Alex Trebek since he is so smart and handsome (did you know he got his degree in philosophy?). I think we may even look alike … what do you think?! And Jeopardy is my favorite TV show! I always know the answers and can’t believe the silly humans who get them wrong. I am a very intelligent young lady who loves learning new things. The wonderful volunteers at Our Pal’s Place play all kinds of games with me. I have heard them say I am very “food motivated” which is a good thing when playing games …. I mean, who doesn’t like treats? I like to play “which hand”, scent games and high 5. And, I have the prettiest sit! As nice as they have been at OPP, I would like to find a family of my own. I would prefer a home that is calm inside, but will keep me active outside. Although not a must, a fenced in yard of my very own sounds incredible! I would like to go on walks to check out the neighborhood. A family that will teach me new things and play games with me would be ideal. I can’t wait to show off how smart I am and the games I like playing. Maybe my new family and I can even watch Jeopardy together!
