Mr. Kitty came to me as a foster after his previous owner was in a car wreck and her family was threatening to euthanize him. Unfortunately, she passed and none of the family members were willing to take him or find him a new home.

Age: 7-11

Mr. Kitty is all the things people think of when they think of cats. He’s cuddly independent. He loves face nuzzles and he will let you pick him up and bounce him like a baby. But he’s also a temperamental grump who likes things his way. He’s vocal and will tell you what he wants, but also loves to play. He’s a complex boy that deserves a good forever home. He loves to cuddle up on any lap he can find. Or your chest. Or any horizontal human surface (your side, your back, legs… he’s creative)

Mr. Kitty will thrive in a home where he has a lap to sit in most of the time. He will probably be happiest as an only cat or with a cat that only cares about cuddling. He can be loud and would offend any territorial or dominant cat. He’s been around a ton of dogs and mostly ignores them. He would do fine in a home with a respectful dog. Same thing with kids, he needs his boundaries respected but he’s good with older kids. All he needs is space to explore and a quiet corner to call his own.

Mr. Kitty was an indoor/outdoor cat at his previous home and appreciates any outdoor enrichment that he can get. He loves a screened in porch or a sunny deck. We even take him for walks in the fenced in back yard to give him extra time freedom to explore!

He’s fully litter box trained. He’s never had an accident but does best with a high sided litter box.

He has had a history of Intermittent asthma – only affected him over the summer. Could have been related to health issues upon intake. (He was missing half of his hair, covered in fleas and was constipated – all things have been treated and he is a healthy weight now)
